NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Theresa Lang Children’s Ambulatory Center is a care team, led by primary care physicians that focuses on each patient’s health goals and coordinates that patient’s care across all settings. In January 2014, the Theresa Lang Children’s Ambulatory Center achieved Level III PCMH certification from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).
In this role, the Outpatient Representative will perform clerical duties associated with the Pediatric Center including screening patients, scheduling patients, answering phones, retrieving voicemails, opening and distributing mail.
This is a full time Monday-Friday position, schedule will vary based on clinic schedule 8am-7pm- located at 56-45 Main Street Flushing.
Required Criteria:
High School Diploma or equivalent GED
1+ years of experience
Strong verbal and written communication
Preferred Criteria:
Knowledge of ICD and CPT billing codes.
