Job Description : Fast growing Maritime Compliance Security company in the Vancouver, WA area needs a talented, professional Operations Manager to coordinate and oversee our organization’s operations. The operations manager role is mainly to implement the right processes and practices across the organization. You should be ready to mentor your team members, find ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels. Ultimately, we’ll trust you to help us remain compliant, efficient and profitable during the course of business. This is an office work environment with some travel needed to Portland and Seattle. You will be working in a closed office that is not open to the public. Casual business attire is recommended but professional business attire is optimal when appropriate.The office is located in the Brush Prairie, WA area which is just a couple miles North of Vancouver (East of I-205).ResponsibilitiesEnsure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective wayImprove operational management systems, processes and best practicesHelp the organization’s processes remain legally compliantFormulate strategic and operational objectivesRecruit, train and schedule staffFind ways to increase quality of customer serviceProficient with Microsoft Office/Word, ExcelScheduling up to 100 employees for shifts that are 24 hours a dayQuickBooks knowledge would be a bonusMust be able to work without supervisionMust have the ability to adjust your work schedule when needed to meet operational needsMust have a clean criminal background to obtain necessary certificationsAt least 5 years proven management, recruiting or operations experienceThis is a exempt salary position.Medical benefits may be available in the very near future.Bonuses may be available depending on successful performance.
