Position : Security Researcher II
Job Description : The RiskIQ’s Research Team’s objective is to deliver tactical intelligence to RiskIQ customers based on research into both threats and vulnerabilities impacting our customer base. In this role the Security Researcher will focus on open-source intelligence analysis leveraging open-source intelligence sources and reporting to surface suspicious and interesting events to support the production of threat intelligence products.
Responsibilities
Review new open-source intelligence each day to identify actionable and valuable information for internal and external customers
Identify new open-source intelligence sources to be used in future research
Support the production of intelligence products and deliverables
Enrich open-source intelligence with internal data
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
1+ year(s) experience in cyber security, intelligence analysis or collection or technical journalism.
OR Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (i.e. Computer Science, Journalism, National Security, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with open-source intelligence collection or analysis
Experience with cyber threat intelligence
