Job Description : Job Title: Social Enterprise Program ManagerReports To: Interim Executive DirectorWork Location: Honolulu, Hawaii 96819POSITION SUMMARYThe Social Enterprise Program Director will assist the Interim Executive Director in managing all aspects of business services provided by the Pacific Gateway Center – Social Enterprise Program (SEP).ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Assist the Interim Executive Director and the Management team in the management of the Pacific Gateway Center – Social Enterprise Program (PGC-SEP),Read and fully understand all aspects of the SEP and ensure full compliance with deliverables and that all the program milestones are met,Managing staff and their performance in the program,Ensure client files are well maintained and participating business are on track to meet the program goals,Attend meetings with the funding agency and other meetings as needed,Be responsible for writing and submitting reports to the funding agency timely,Build and strengthen the relationship of PGC with its partner agencies to coordinate work with all program referral partner agencies,Interface closely and effectively with PGC’s program managers, such as Culinary Business Incubator, Kunia Farms and other programs which relate to client needs.Provide training workshops/business technical assistance to clients (including review clients’ business plan, identification of various business sector needs, developing programs to address those needs, tracking and monitoring results of these programs, evaluating the effectiveness of these programs, enhancing these programs and reporting the results of these programs).Researching funding opportunities for PGC and its clients, establishing internal processes and procedures to enhance PGC’s capacity to deliver such funding, to assist in securing such funding and to ensure full compliance with the funder’s requirementsSpecific Program and Project Areas:Current Project: Social Enterprises Program (SEP) targeting the underserved micro-entrepreneurs and immigrant entrepreneurs.Current Economic Development Activities: Existing Facilities and Programs (Culinary Business Incubator at 723C Umi Street; PGC Farms in Kunia, Paradise Enterprises/The Pig and the Lady at 83 North King; Na Kupuna Makamae Center at 653 Ala Moana Blvd, Kakaako)Program Expansion: expansion of the existing and development of potential new programs and services when relevant.QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: I. Baseline Requirements Include: Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Development, Real Estate or Community Development, Economics or Finance related fields highly preferred. Extensive experience in community development, finance or real estate will be considered in lieu of graduate degree.Previous three years of project monitoring and management experience in either teaching, training or involved in direct operations of a business.Experience in business plan writing, reviewing, establishing milestones and work plans, monitoring and evaluation functions.Experience in grant writing, advocacy and business development for non-profitsE. Competencies with Excel, Word and Powerpoint, and G-suitesF. Experience in project planning, development, marketing and managementII.
