Position Summary
As the Training Manager, you will be dedicated to developing, implementing, assessing and driving the health of factory training systems. In this highly visible role, you will engage with factory leadership and all teams across safety, quality, warehouse, production and maintenance to facilitate effective training and address any gaps in learning and development. You will champion ongoing education and instructional efforts at all levels of the organization and strive to continuously improve factory processes, resources, learning support and job competencies through purposeful and impactful training strategies.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop individualized and group learning programs that address factory needs and organizational goals
Identify specific departmental gaps and opportunities for progression and create curriculums to facilitate learning and development
Serve as the education and training pillar lead to ensure that E&T methodologies are properly applied and executed
Utilize assessments and metrics to steer the strategic vision for learning and development across the factory
Manage the budget allocation, materials, cross-functional coordination and timely execution of training initiatives and projects in accordance with the operational master plan
Perform job analysis, review career paths and participate in behavior-based interviewing
Oversee the new associate orientation program and identify opportunities for improvement
Coach and advise factory leadership and coordinate supervisory and management development courses
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business Administration or related field
3+ years of leadership experience in Learning & Development, Training, People Operations and/or Human Resources within a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment
This position has a minimum salary of $115,000. Please note that the salary provided is a good faith estimate for the position. The final salary offer will be determined after reviewing relevant factors, which include a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
