Job Description : NOW OFFERING A $5,000 HIRING BONUS!The PNB Tumwater has a Transport Driver position available. This position is responsible for driving a tractor/trailer truck to make long-distance pick-ups and deliveries of predominantly finished product or materials/supplies. Hours are Monday-Friday, 10-12-hour shifts. Individual must be able and willing to work any and all shifts as necessary.Primary Job Accountabilities: Deliver finished product or raw materials to assigned destinationEnsure safety and compliance of loadChecks and/or assists in the loading/unloading of the trailerObtains proper authorization for all deliveries/pick-upsResponsible for checking vehicle for proper and safe operating condition before and after each tripMust maintain a DOT driver’s log, other required transportation documentation and adhere to all DOT and PNB regulationsJob Eligibility Criteria: · High school diploma or GED· 21 years of age or older· Class A CDL required, Hazmat endorsements preferred· 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years· No moving violations within the past three years and no at-fault accidents within the last five years· Experience operating trucks requiring a CDL Class A license (for example, driving forwards, driving backwards, maneuvering in tight spaces, dropping, and hooking, operating landing gear, or backing into docks and confined spaces)· Experience preferred in hauling consumer products and perishable consumer goods (for example, transporting unstable loads or hauling different weights on different trip segments)· Experience operating a tractor-trailer in different conditions (for example, highway driving, side/local roads, city/country, maneuvering in tight spaces)· Requires working tractor/trailer components, including bending and cranking landing gear as well as climbing in and out of cabs and sitting for extended periods of time· Must be able to work well as a Team with other individuals with diverse experiences, backgrounds, and personalities.· Must be able to positively represent Pepsi Northwest Beverages, LLC in all interactions with Customers, Fellow Employees, and the General Public· Must be Customer Service Oriented· Must be able to lift cases weighing 20-60 pounds· Must pass a pre-employment drug test and DOT physical requirementsPNB is dedicated to the policy of equality of employment opportunity for all its employees without regard to their race, color, religion, gender, age, disability, national origin, sexual orientation, or any other category protected by law.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $30.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid orientationPaid sick timePaid time offPaid trainingReferral programVision insuranceSchedule:Home dailyMonday to FridayOvertimeWeekend availabilityYear round workSupplemental Pay:Signing bonusTrucking Driver Type:Company driverEducation:High school or equivalent (Required)Experience:Driving: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:CDL A (Preferred)Work Location: One location
