Job Description : Title: Upper School Ceramics Teacher
Job Status: Full-time beginning in the 2022-2023 academic year; Exempt
`Iolani School seeks a full-time ceramics teacher for the 2022-2023 academic year. The position requires work as a lab assistant (maintenance of the ceramics studio) and ongoing collaboration with the visual arts teaching team. In addition to being active participants in our vibrant learning community, we are looking for educators who will inspire and support our students. The ideal candidate is dynamic, a strong communicator (both written and oral) and committed to professional growth in their discipline and teaching practice.
Candidates should have at least 3-5 years of teaching experience and be comfortable designing and executing curriculum as part of a teaching team and embrace the use of instructional technology.
‘Iolani School has many extracurricular opportunities available for those looking to extend their work beyond the classroom, including, but not limited to: participation in our residential life program, coaching athletic and/or academic student teams, and serving as an adviser in our advisory program.
