Job Description : Duties
Collaborates with Dean of Faculty and Academic Programs personnel and school representative to identify and assess high-priority education needs as they relate to the assessment and accreditation of college curricula.
Provides expertise and advice to faculty and administrators in the areas of outcome assessment and program evaluation.
Provide guidance to faculty and administrators regarding the articulation of program and course learning objectives and the use of direct and indirect learning metrics and assessment through data software and delivered through data reports and analysis.
Reviews course outcomes as listed in the individual schools’ syllabi and evaluates their applicability in relation to adult learning models.
Supports the efforts for institutional and programmatic accreditation, which includes proficiency in the requirements and expectations of accrediting bodies and the ability to advise college efforts towards compliance.
Provides direction and assistance with the creation of new programs to ensure they comply with federal mandates and guidelines.
Composes accreditation documents for review and approval by college leadership.
Maintains and establishes professional relationships with senior educators, military leader and public officials to stay current on new educational methodologies in the field of joint force requirements, and to enlist their support to improve the quality of the college curricula and the analysis of the JFSC program effectiveness.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
An earned Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education (or international equivalent) in higher education, curriculum development, program assessment, evaluation or a relevant field. A terminal degree is preferred.
Thorough knowledge of education theory and methodology with special emphasis on assessment, program evaluation, program management and curriculum development.
Expertise in establishing program planning guidelines, developing evaluation criteria, analyzing results and making data-based recommendations for improvement.
Professional knowledge of principles, methods, practices and techniques of educational assessment at the post-graduate level.
Clear and concise communication skills, both oral and written, to small, large and executive level audiences.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to respond positively to stress and pressures often associated with problem solving in a dynamic and complex environment.
Knowledge of institutional accreditation standards and procedures.
Education
Education Requirement: An earned Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education (or international equivalent) in higher education, education administration, business administration, management, or other related appropriate discipline.
