Job Description : We are looking for a very special Activity Director that LOVES working with the elderly and those with different abilities.The activity director is responsible for organizing, mobilizing and coordinating staff, participants, and vendors during the day.Duties include:Help plan and organize activities, ensuring that everything runs smoothly throughout the day.Welcoming guests and answering questions.Coordinating, supporting and assisting staff to make each day amazing.Cleaning the event space.Ensure that all health and safety measures are observed and that staff are well versed in protocols.Creating a positive, relaxed atmosphere where guests can enjoy themselves.Must have:A positive, outgoing, fun, charming demeanorUnderstand different abilities and be open minded and positive ALWAYSA high school diplomaA clean background checkExperience in customer service,Excellent management, organizational and planning skills.Ability to manage time.Ability to anticipate problems and make contingency plans.Great interpersonal and communication skillsFlexible and approachableStrong leadership qualities.Job Types: Full-time, Contract, TemporaryPay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hourBenefits:Paid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftExperience:Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)Language:English (Required)Shift availability:Day Shift (Required)Work Location: One location
