Position : Administrative Assistant
Job Description : Position Overview
Job Purpose: To provide administrative support to office to ensure efficient operations of the organization as well as providing administrative support for fundraising, program and field staff.
Job Summary: Performs advanced, diversified, and confidential administrative duties requiring. Composes correspondence, memoranda and prepares presentations. Assist in preparing minutes of meetings, reports and correspondence for special events and fundraising campaigns.
Responsibilities
Handles administrative assignments of a confidential or complex nature requiring considerable use of discretion.
Coordinates assignments, vendors, and materials as needed by the office manager.
Prepares reports, agendas, presentations, communications, board packages, and other materials. Edits publications, reports, and other communications. Serves as administrative support.
Prepare special event reports as needed
Assist in maintaining files and accurate records for all special events
Assist in mailing out campaign notices, file copies of payments and send appropriate acknowledgement letters
Assist in annual appeal, follow-up letters, coordinator letters, thank you letters along with literature needed to accompany each in a timely manner
Mail processing
Answer phones as needed
Special Assignments may include:
General office duties, assistance other administrative tasks of the operation
Requires continuous use of technical and business vocabulary and a detailed knowledge of organizational operations, procedures, and personnel. Proficient in Microsoft products: Power Point, Publisher, Word, Excel and Outlook.
Education
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required
Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft products: Power Point, Publisher, Word, Excel and Outlook.
Customer Service Mindset
Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing

This position is a Part-Time hourly position, 25 hours a week Monday through Friday. Hours are flexible, prefer in office 5 days a week. We offer a competitive salary range of $18-22/hour based on experience.
