Job Description : The role of the Animal Behavior Consultant supports our Behavior Vet families as they work to help their pets with their behaviors. This position is client-facing and requires a motivated, problem-solving, upbeat, “people-person” who loves to support families dealing with challenging animal behavior issues.This role needs to have the ability to engage clients, animals, staff, and our community in a positive and professional way in order to set an example for the team as we strive to deliver a WOW Client and Animal Experience. The Behavior Consultant must be comfortable and experienced working with a variety of behavioral issues in canines, felines, and other species, including aggression and anxiety. This role requires local travel to offer in-home appointments for our clients, as well as in-clinic and virtual appointments.Certification and/or continuing education through Karen Pryor Academy, Jean Donaldson Academy for Dog Trainers, Fear Free, IAABC, Fenzi, Clicker Expo, TAG Teach International, and other educational and certifying organizations is desired but not required.We provide great benefits, low-cost veterinary care for your pets, continuing education, and health insurance.
