Job Description : Do you want to work outside and have fun all day? We’re looking for fun, personable, punctual, dependable and fast learning people to join our team. We are currently hiring for ATV Guides. You can find more about the park at our website here: https://coralcrater.com/about-coral-crater-adventure-park/In addition to customer service, the primary responsibility of the adventure park crew is to ensure the safety of all of the park’s guests, and to provide assistance and guidance where needed.This is a physically demanding job. Candidates must be available to work 4-5 days a week, in all kinds of weather with all kinds of people. Candidates must be able to work Saturday AND Sunday. If you cannot work Saturday and Sunday please do not bother applying. Shifts range from 8am to 5pm and 10am to 7pm.RequirementsMust have a drivers licenseMust currently be located on the island of Oahu – All interviews must be in person at the park.Positive attitudeProfessionalAbility to consistently start/carry on a comfortable conversation with strangersAbility to naturally command the attention of a group of 10-12 peopleAbility to make a good first impression and instill confidence in others as a safe tour guideSerious-minded when it comes to safetyBeing physically fit.(Must weight under 275 lbs)English skills are important and if you are bilingual in Japanese, even better.This is not a temporary positionKnowledgeable about vehicles, specifically ATV’sPerform basic corrective maintenance if and when a vehicle breaks.Assist in maintaining any and all vehicles used at Coral Crater.Must be willing and able to run errands for the park for gas, auto parts etc.Qualifications and SkillsAbility to manage self and daily tasks in a rapidly changing environmentMust have flawless safety record and know safe working practices around vehiclesMust assist in trail maintenance when required.Must be able to use the variety of hand tools and vehicular maintenance tools and equipment which are necessary for our operationWill, when required, drive Company vehicles in a safe mannerMust be a team player and be able to take instruction in a drama free manner.Must be punctual. If you are late or call in sick this isn’t the right job for you.Pay starts at $15 per hour through training then once an approved guide pay goes up from there plus TIPS and bonuses; however, promotion is available throughout the seasons depending on your work skill and attitude. Top guides AVERAGE, with tips, around $25 per hour throughout the year.During the slow season there are opportunities for more hours at the park doing maintenance and projects.
