Job Description : Business Analyst
Life Line Screening provides preventative health screenings to detect unrecognized, potential health problems to our clients. Our IT organization is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions which drive efficiency for our services teams, provide our clients with health care information to assist them make better decisions and building systems which serve as the catalyst for a growth oriented organization.
The Business Analyst will interact with business stakeholders to understand business objectives and work with the development team to deliver solutions. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to think critically.
Responsibilities include:
Work with business partners to define and develop projects requirements
Work with the business team to prioritize projects
Work with IT management team to prioritize and schedule projects
Serve as the proxy for business owners in order to write user stories and manage requirements issues
Communicate with business team(s) deployment details
Monitor efforts to resolve product issues and track progress
Ensure that the final product satisfies the product requirements and meet end-user expectations
Research the current market for similar products and compare results
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree required or 2+ years of applicable experience
2+ years of experience working with development teams and software development projects
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Experience with software development life cycle processes.
Experience working with Agile teams
Internally motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment
Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders
Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems and processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of web based, mobile and/or enterprise applications
