Job Description : The Master Data team oversees and drives processes for managing all client master data to include price lists, item specifications, data synchronization, and retail partner publications. The team of 4 works closely with clients, internal teams and retail partners to ensure master data accuracy. The representative will regularly work in 1WorldSync, Emerson’s product management system (PIM) and ERP system. Additionally, this person will have the opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally with our clients, sales teams, supply chain/logistics, master data management/data management office and IT partners to develop and lead strategic initiatives.Primary ResponsibilitiesOversee Emerson client’s master price lists and product specification sheets that are shared and transmitted to our internal teams and retail partnersResponsible for new item setup in internal product management systemResponsible for publication of master data from Emerson PIM to 3PL’s warehouse management system.Reviews and maintains accuracy of Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) data between internal and customer systems.Responsible for working with clients to ensure catalog accuracy and completeness· Identify and drive data synchronization and process improvements with appropriate internal and external stakeholders and train relevant teams and clients as needBecome the subject matter expert in 1WorldSync, PIM (Product Information Management), and retail publication requirements.Work with Emerson E-Commerce team to ensure data integrity with Salsify or other platformsWork with 1WorldSync, Emerson IT Department, and Clients to improve operational processes and trouble shoot any issues.Work with retail teams to ensure timely publications for new or modified items· Create a good relationship with clients to ensure business needs are handled accordinglyComplete operational updates as needed (i.e; EDI connectivity, Item catalog updates)Additional ResponsibilitiesConnect initiatives that run across multiple areas of Emerson Logistics or Emerson GroupBuild strong relationship with Emerson’s Sales teamCapability Requirements – skills & experienceBachelor’s Degree. 5+ years of experience desired.This position requires someone who loves data and is extremely detail-oriented.Strong background and understanding of excel, data warehousing, and data synchronization (preferably 1WorldSync)Catalog Management or Product Management experience.Experience interfacing with key accounts such as Amazon, Albertson’s, Kroger, Wakefern, Wegmans and Walmart.Experience managing multiple stakeholders including clients, retailers, and sales leads.Ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize appropriately and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentMust have good communication and relationship management skills.
