We are looking to fill a Customer Service Representative position at CrossGlobe, our Newport News, Virginia operation.We are seeking a HIGHLY MOTIVATED self-starter who is versatile and can work efficiently and accurately in a busy Warehouse and Distribution office. You will be responsible for planning container loads for export shipments, ordering and managing container inventory for planned bookings, and processing transactions in the inventory management system. If you are an Excel whiz, organized and great with customers, then this is the right opportunity for you.Your new responsibilities:Plan container loads to maximize capacity of each container and distribute trucks according to loads;Provide detailed load pattern and cargo securement instructions for loading team;Order required containers to meet customer bookings;Coordinate and manage daily inventory authorizations for outgoing truckloads and ensure load accuracy;Process loads in inventory management systems;Coordinate and prioritize load deliveries to port with internal transportation group.You have the right qualifications:Associate degree or equivalent work or military experience;3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;Experience in dispatching and/or inventory management a plus;Strong knowledge of the Microsoft suite, Access & SAP;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;Good organizational skills, detail oriented and able to work unsupervised.At Logistec USA, we believe that inclusion inspires true IMAGINATION.
