Position : Director of Water Transfer Operations
Job Description : We are looking for an experienced Director of Water Transfer Operations based in Midland, TX to manage and oversee the daily water transfer operations of our company. Position will report directly to the V.P. of Operations. The Director of Water Transfer Operations will be responsible for our Permian (Midland/Delaware) and Eagle Ford Basin operations. Responsibilities will include coordinating daily with various departments such as sales, finance, and human resources, managing and developing processes in the field to ensure safety and job performance and coaching and mentoring the supervisors working with you. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience and knowledge of Water Transfer, ability to manage and motivate people and a willingness to learn from and teach others.Job Success ObjectivesThe best candidates for this role understand and are skilled at working with all other company functions that support operations including human resources, finance, sales, marketing, and service. Your goals will need to align with the company’s vision, core values, and leader behaviours as well as serving as the strategic leader in accomplishing the company’s strategic plan. Furthermore, the desired candidate will bring innovative solutions and standardize processes to revamp current operations into consistent high-performing growth.Work with our team to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goalsPlan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progressEvaluate regularly the efficiency of operation procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvementsReview financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitabilityRevise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementationManage relationships with external partners/vendors and clientsEvaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metricsEnsure that the company runs efficiently while following all established company/customer HSE guidelines.SkillsExcellent organizational and leadership abilitiesOutstanding communication and people skillsKnowledge of industry’s HSE standards and guidelinesBasic understanding of expense management and employee performance/evaluation metricsDemonstrated leadership of 100+ employeesFamiliarity with MS Office and various business software (e.g. ERP, CRM)5+ years of Management and Operational Experience in Water Transfer or related field with strong operational knowledge in Water Transfer specifically.Pay & BenefitsThe salary for this position is $150,000+ depending on experience plus an additional bonus program which is paid annually and up to 30% of salary. We also offer a share award program. Both incentive programs are based upon personal job performance and overall company budget performance.
