Global Business Marketing is looking for a talented Editor to join our Global Creative Lab in New York. Working closely with our diverse team of in-house creatives, you will be part of a global think tank working across a host of creative touch-points.
In this position you will be part of a 360 creative team. We are seeking a creative Video Editor with motion graphics and sound editing experience who can seamlessly transition static to motion, build storyboards and enjoys bringing design to life. You’ll work on a range of deliverables across TikTok formats while collaborating with the creative team to deliver breakthrough content.
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of how people consume, share, and engage with social video as well as having a strong sense of narrative and storytelling skills. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment and be comfortable working in teams and with outside production partners.
In this role you will…
Edit a high volume of in-house original videos, and create various versions of edits, optimized for different platforms that align with TikTok style guide
Build video templates and graphic design work that adheres to TikTok brand style guidelines
Work closely with internal creative teams to help guide concept ideation and external partners to help guide production and editing
Assist in planning, shooting and editing content to be used across digital media channels, globally (Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
Innovate new ways to repurpose and improve existing creative bank
Excellent attention to detail and ability to proof-check your own work
Ability to multi-task and seamlessly transition between multiple workstreams
In addition to being a great editor, you must be an all around creative, with an eye for small details and a passion for big ideas
The ideal candidate will have strong audio and sound editing skills
The ideal candidate will also possess motion graphics chops
Qualifications
4+ year’s experience within a creative agency, digital agency or post-production company.
Successful track record of producing and editing video content for brands on digital media channels.
Ability to assist in planning and shooting of original content and to edit that content.
Ability to edit, cut, curate and overlay music, dialogues, graphics and effects.
Highly creative, organized and able to work independently with little direction.
Great communication skills and a collaborative team player in a cross-cultural and cross-functional environment.
Passionate about social media and short video products.
Understanding of today’s media landscape and how people engage with advertising.
