Job Description : Salient Operations Group (#B15811001) is a security and risk management firm specializing in executive, protective, and consulting services. We provide peace of mind for our clients through bespoke solutions designed to meet the challenges of today’s uncertain security climate.Salient is seeking a highly experienced security professional, with a preference for former military and law enforcement personnel, to be a part of an executive protection team located in Austin, TX.Applicants must possess a valid Texas Level IV PPO credential and must also have a clean Motor Vehicle Record.The successful candidate will be highly motivated and in good physical, mental, and emotional condition. They will have extensive military, law enforcement, and/or executive security experience with the ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written formats. They must also demonstrate their superior leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills and have a high level of integrity and trustworthiness.RESPONSIBILITIESProvide for the safety and personal security of the principal.Travel with the principal as needed often on short notice including domestic and international travel.Follow operation plans and handle trip requirements as directed by the principal and/or Salient.Be able to provide emergency first aid/CPR if needed.Perform vehicle transportation functions as necessary. This includes route review and selection, counter surveillance, defensive driving, and threat assessments along all routes.Maintenance of the executive transportation vehicle to include the mandatory equipment (comfort kits, medical/trauma kit, etc.)Site advancing to minimize risks to the principal.Mitigate threats and vulnerabilities via proactive means, advances, situational awareness, and pre-planning security.Maintain flexible schedule and on-call hours as needed.Agent will properly maintain all equipment needed for the protective operations program (i.e. vehicles, medical supplies, communications devices, etc.)Performs other job-related duties as requested.Job Type: Part-timePay: $35.00 per hourSchedule:10 hour shift12 hour shift8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWeekend availabilityEducation:Associate (Preferred)Experience:Protective & Security: 3 years (Required)Military: 4 years (Preferred)Law Enforcement: 4 years (Preferred)License/Certification:Texas Level IV PPO (Required)Work Location: One location
