We are looking for a team player’s who will contribute not only to our team’s production, but to our culture as a whole.Market Leading Benefits: Health, Dental and Vision insurance with Wellness Premium DiscountsCompany Paid and Voluntary Life insurance401k with a company matchPaid holidays, vacations, and personal daysDaily PayDescription: Will aid freezer operator in freezer center operations including related equipment: start-up, adjustments, product changes, and shutdown.Will operate freezer center and related equipment during lunches and breaks.Will monitor, adjust, and fill fruit feeders, variegate pump stations and pull/flavor mix.Will monitor, adjust, and load shrink wraps, tamper banders, and bundlers.Will be able to assemble all pipes, related to various ice cream flavor set ups.Will monitor, adjust, and load ice cream fillers.Will be responsible for organization, cleaning, and general appearance of ice cream production, and ice cream common areas.Will dump trash, and restock supplies.Will help in hardening room as needed.Must be willing to cross train and perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications: Must be willing and able to perform described duties.Must be highly motivated, work well with others, and have good communication skills.Must have a high commitment to quality.Must be able to climb and work from ladders.Will operate tow motor/pallet jackHeavy lifting which includes, but is not limited to lifting 65 lb pails and boxes and pushing full carts of ingredients.Will be expected to learn and actively participate in activities designed to enhance SmithFoods lean process, Making Tomorrow Better, to reduce waste throughout the company.Aptitude to learn and the willingness to take training and perform the preventative maintenance, adjustments and trouble shooting of filler and related equipment.High School diploma preferredGED assistance availableDays/Hours: Sunday thru Thursday with Friday & Saturdays as scheduled.Starting time is currently 9:00 pm.Overtime will be required as needed.Days and hours are subject to change with seasonal volume.EEO StatementSmithFoods is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
