Job Description : A position has been declared open in the Weber School District at Fremont High for a School Counselor. This position is for 8 hours per day, 192 days per year. Starting 2022 -2023 school year. Applicants may apply on wsd.tedk12.com.
THIS POSITION WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL FILLED AFTER A MINIMUM OF 3 WORKING DAYS.
Job Description:
Individual and group counseling/guidance
Effective prevention and intervention strategies
Career education and life planning
Testing/interpretation
Parent conferencing
Building staff understanding of counseling role
Knowledgeable in dealing with current computer registration programs for Weber County School District.
Demonstrates professional ethics as outlined by the Utah Professional Practices Advisory Commission.
Conforms to district policies including attendance, absences and evaluations.
Applicants must have met the requirements for school counselor in the state of Utah and hold a current license.
