Job Description : VSAS Hawaiian-Focused Public Charter School seeks a student-centered high school Social Studies teacher (full-time position) for a project-based, high school program beginning SY 2022-2023. This position requires the ability to integrate standards-based content in a Hawaiian-focused, place- and project-based format in collaboration and coordination with a co-teacher. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong content knowledge in Social Studies and be highly motivated to meet student needs. Qualified candidates must possess a valid teaching license and a minimum of 2 years teaching experience in teaching Social Studies. Experience teaching in Hawai’i is preferred.
