Job Description : Position Title: Human Resource AssistantClassification: Full-Time ExemptReports To: Director of Human ResourcesLocation: Gas Express LLC, 1575 Northside Dr NW Ste 470, Atlanta, GA 30318Position Summary: The Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the Human Resource Department. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.Essential Functions and Responsibilities: − Answers the telephone, relays messages, and maintains equipment and supplies.− Receives and distributes departmental mail.− Schedules and organizes job interviews and appointments; takes minutes during meetings.− Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.− Answers inquiries from applicants and employees related to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etcetera; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.− Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.− Performs all tasks related to new employee onboarding.− Communicates with Operations team about store staffing needs and applicant status.− Performs functions related to recruitment and applicant follow-up including pre-screens and maintaining online job postings.− Performs system terminations and sends out relevant separation notices.− Regularly audits HR files to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.− Regularly audits HR files to ensure all inactive employees are terminated from the system.157 5 Northside Drive NW, Ste 470, Atlanta, GA 30318 Tel (678) 254-4036 Fax (678) 254-4041Office of Human Resources | www.circlekatl.comMulti-State Franchise Operator − Provides clerical support to the HR department.− Assembles and prepares human resource reports as requested.− Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.− Conducts or assists with job fairs and events.− Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.− Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor within the scope of employee’s ability.− Assists in the enforcement of company policy and leads by example.Success Factors: − Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an understanding of business communication standards.− Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage time sensitive and confidential situations.− Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.− Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.− Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.− Professional appearance as defined by Company policy.− Willingness and ability to adapt to changing job duties and requirements as needed.− Excellent active listening skills, i.e., concentrate, understand, respond, and remember.− Two years prior retail environment experience preferred.Experience and Education: − Associate Degree in related field or equivalent work experience.− One year minimum experience.Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: − Sitting 80%.− Standing/Walking 20%.− Moderate noise levels from office equipment and standard business interaction.− Minimum lifting requirement of 35 pounds to receive supply deliveries.− Frequent client and interoffice personnel interaction.− Standard business work week Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m..− Overnight travel negligible.Job Type: Full-timePay: $40,000.00 – $45,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Leadership: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
