Our team is composed of clinical and administrative team members all focused on creating meaningful change in the lives of those we serve.Behavior Interventions is seeking to fill a leadership position on our team as our current team member is being promoted to a new role. In this role, you will support our organization by providing human resources advice, counsel and strategy. You’ll report directly to our Chief Operating Officer, and work closely with department leadership. Our ideal candidate will have experience or demonstrated ability to lead all functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including talent acquisition, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.A minimum of three years of human resource management experience is preferred.SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP a plusThorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentialityDemonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlinesExcellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skillsEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityOrganizational/time management/prioritizationProficient technical/computer skills, i.e. google apps, external recruitment boardsExperience in or understanding of Behavior Analysis or related field preferredPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.Benefits:Unlimited monthly benefit towards medical premium coverage when the employee works 35 hours per week or moreMedical, Vision, Dental and Short Term disability group plan enrollment eligibilityUnlimited Paid Time Off for vacation, holiday, personal time, and sick time annuallyMatched retirement contributions after 12 months of employment.Annual bonus after one fiscal year of employment.Additional expense reimbursement for business-related expenses: ie. travel for networking events, provider audits, etcPosition Responsibilities:Provides support to management and the organization by providing human resources advice, counsel and strategy:Oversee talent acquisition, employee onboarding, staffing, credentialing and benefit departmentsAnalyze and modify compensation and benefit policiesEnsures compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements and advises management on needed actionsDevelops organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.Reviews and revises company HR policies and proceduresLeads all functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as itrelates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.Provides support and guidance to HR team, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.Ensures the organization’s talent acquisition process remains effective in meeting current and future needs; analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.Performs other duties as assigned.Develop and lead a team of HR department supervisors to meet the organization’s goals; ensuring families receive quality behavior-analytic services.Conducts weekly one on one supervision meetings and monthly team meetings to support supervisors with meeting performance objectives and department goals.Identifies and implements quality control measures while supporting staff to provide exceptional services.
