Job Description Summary:
Faegre Drinker is looking to hire an Immigration Paralegal to contribute to one of the most sophisticated and multi-dimensional business immigration and global mobility practices in the U.S. This position can be based out of our Denver office. If you have excellent technical, writing, communication, and research skills and are looking for an exciting career in Immigration Law, we have an opportunity for you as an Immigration Paralegal. In this position, you will: work with our team of attorneys; interact with multinational corporate clients; and draft government filings on behalf of highly skilled technical workers, business executives, and leading international scientists.
Job Description:
What you would do:
Assist attorneys in preparation of employment-based immigration petitions and applications
Utilize an immigration case management system and database continuously and accurately
Manage a heavy caseload of immigration matters in various stages
Contribute to the development of practice processes to simplify work, standardize procedures, and help the team operate more efficiently and effectively
Conduct Immigration-related research
Other projects and duties as assigned

The typical hiring salary range for this position is $55,000-$85,000. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, and responsibilities. The range listed is just one component of Faegre Drinker’s total compensation and benefits package for employees which includes life, health, accident and disability insurance and a 401(k) plan.
What is required:
Ideal candidates will have an international or multi-cultural professional background and an interest in immigration law; some experience with employment-based immigration is a plus, but not required
Bachelor’s degree is required; paralegal certificate or degree will be considered in lieu of a four-year degree
Demonstrated strong research and analytical skills required
Strong technical aptitude, critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills
Foreign language proficiency is preferred
