Laboratory Service Representatives – Evenings
Step into NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, where clinical laboratory professionals are redefining the limits of science and medicine. With patients from across the globe, we study some of the most complex and rarely seen medical conditions. And through our work, we guide the effective diagnosis and treatment of the many people we serve. Now, you can help Make It Possible.
This role is part of our Customer Service Rep team who staffs our Laboratory Client Call Center. This role will provide top-notch customer service to our NYPH Lab Outreach Program clients. Responsibilities include:
Provide customer service to our Lab Clients; educate clients on policies & procedures
Epic registration and finalization prior to billing
Resolving client concerns via phone and email
Daily review of client accounts
Taking overflow calls for specimen pick-up requests & specimen collection supplies coming into our logistics team .
This position would be from 1:00pm – 9:00pm with rotating Saturdays.
Required Criteria
High School Diploma or GED
Prior work experience in dealing with the public and handling volume telephone inquiries
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
