A Lift Operators primary responsibility is to ensure our guests’ safety as they ride our ski lifts. You will exceed our guest’s expectations, provide outstanding customer service and assuring the smooth delivery of day-to-day operations of the business.
While on duty, Lift Operators maintain the ramps, loading and unloading areas and ensure the work area is safe for guests and fellow team members. You are required to have a high level of physical fitness to shovel snow and assist guests when loading and unloading lifts.
Over snow travel is required to some lift stations so skiing or snowboarding experience is advantageous. All employees have the opportunity to ski or board the slopes during their rostered breaks and days off. No previous experience is required to be a Lift Operator, training will be provided prior to commencement.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
A high level of physical fitness and be in good health – Lift Operators need to be able to climb, balance, kneel, crouch, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, hear, see, carry and use repetitive motions
Intermediate to advanced ski or snowboard ability is desirable
Excellent knowledge of our resorts will be highly regarded
A cheerful, “can-do” attitude
The ability to provide excellent customer service & great verbal communication skills
The ability to work outside, on your feet, in all weather conditions
Be at least 18 years of age (due to Safe Work regulations)

Employment start dates will vary depending on the role and snow conditions, but most roles start in June and finish in late September. Staff accommodation may be available for successful applicants.
