Come grow with us in Boston, MA!Shift: Typically Monday-Friday during business hoursRoles and Responsibilities· Accept all packages and letter mail from incoming carriers· Assist and coordinate with high volume package deliveries for large scale events and during peak times during the year· Assist carriers with unloading mail from trucks using hand carts· Assistance with package related inquiries· Ensure proper organization of mailroom for quick and accurate distribution of packages· Maintain and assist in establishing SOP’s and process improvements for Shipping and Receiving technologies· Maintain familiarity with major carriers shipping systems such as UPS CampusShip, MyDHL, etc.· Maintain inventory of shipping supplies· Maintain relationships with local carriers for pickup of outgoing mail· Make runs to post office as needed· Process outgoing shipments (FedEx, UPS, DHL and USPS) by utilizing the appropriate service provider, applying the correct cost by weight, and making sure items are packaged properly.· Record registered mail using provided software· Resolve issues with incorrect and/or returned mailRequired Skills and Abilities· Ability to learn quickly· Ability to quickly shift attention between tasks, prioritize them within given timeframes· Ability to sort mail in a way to help ease and speed of delivery· Ability to spend much of the day on his/her feet· Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent· Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral· Familiarity with international shipping processes preferred· Minimum 2-years previous mailroom experience· Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.· Must be at least 21 years old· Working knowledge of incoming package tracking systems preferredWilling to receive Booster shot*Sign on Bonus Parameters_ -(Taxable) Bonus paid out after 30 days on the next pay cycle__ -Must still be employed with SPS after 30 days__ -Currently only for new hires starting 1/7/2022 to 3/31/2022__ -Eligible for site level positions only (CSM and below)__ -Employees are ALSO eligible for employee referral bonus after hired!_About Swiss Post SolutionsAt Swiss Post Solutions (SPS) we embrace the uniqueness of our employees and are committed to the fair and equal treatment of all people, applicants, and employees by promoting a culture of access, inclusion, equity and diversity.Swiss Post Solutions provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual and reproductive health choices, national origin, age, disability, genetics, military status, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation and/or any other status protected by law.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountPaid time offReferral programVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Signing bonusWork Location: One location
