Job Description : Decoking Descaling Technology Inc.(DDT) is looking for full pigging technicians assistants for its Gulf Coast Operations unit in Houston, TX. The right candidate will be trained as a decoking operator and must operate decoking pumpers in refineries throughout the US. The candidate will also work as part of a crew maintaining our specialized decoking equipment.Position Overview: The Pigging Techniciant assistant is responsible for assisting our Operator in executing D.D.T. projects and understanding our patented pigging process by ensuring that pigging jobs comply with clients’ needs guaranteeing the quality of the service. It will work on our equipment setup process at Refineries and follow instructions to build the tools needed for the pigging process.On-Site DutiesDDT inc. Operates throughout the US. The right candidate will be willing to travel for short periods of time within short notices to various job sites as a trained decoking operator. Will operate decoking equipment as part of a team on 12-hour rotating shifts.The right candidate should have the following personal attributes for on-site works:A safe and conscientious working mentalityWorks well as part of a small teamAttention to detail at all timesAbility to interact professionally with clients.Job RequirementsResponsibilities, Skills, Experience, and RequirementsMust be fluent in verbal and written EnglishAbility to effectively communicate with co-workersAbility to work effectively in a refinery environmentFamiliarity with Lock Out Tag Out proceduresAbility to follow company operating proceduresSome mechanical abilities would be idealTWIC card eligibility is essentialThe successful candidate must pass a drug screening & background checkPlace of employmentAll shop maintenance work and job preparation will be in DDT’s South Houston, TX location near Hobby Airport. The successful candidate must be willing to travel and attend site operations anywhere in the United States.
