Job Description : Exciting career opportunity in NYC!!The No Fault Examiner assigned to a claim is primarily responsible for the prompt and fair settlement of the loss, within the provisions of the Insuring Agreement and all applicable Insurance Regulations.Duties & Responsibilities:Review each claim for valid and applicable coverageEstablish the scope of coverageReview and analyze documents received on the claimEffectively communicate with all interested partiesIdentify Fraud Indicators, make necessary SIU Referrals, and direct any necessary investigationAuthorize payments/settlements within the scope of coverage and authorityMange the risk through thorough file review and timely dispositionRequirements:Associate’s Degree or 1 year of Claims Examiner experienceKnowledge of the insurance policy, applicable insurance regulations, and basic principles of insuranceFamiliarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiologyStrong evaluation and decision making skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsGreat negotiation skillsAbility to work effectively within a team and work independently without direct supervisionExcellent customer service skillsJob Type: Full-timePay: $39,362.00 – $81,921.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:All employees must be vaccinated.Education:Associate (Preferred)Work Location: One location
