Job Description : Operations and Facility Maintenance Coordinator $2000 SIGN-ON STIPEND! Pay: $20.25 to $25.77 hourly$2,000 Sign-on Incentive for Full-time positionsAPPLICANTS MUST COMPLETE CITY OF KISSIMMEE EMPLOYMENT APPLICATIONPlease apply: https://www.kissimmee.gov/departments/human-resources-risk-management/employment-opportunitiesGeneral Statement of JobUnder limited supervision, plans, schedules and implements a preventative maintenance schedule, assists with safety inspections, coordinate repairs and installations and maintains an inventory of tools, materials and equipment. Responsible for the delivery of event supplies and set ups/strikes of events and programs. Supervises and reviews the work of subordinate full and part time employees, temporary laborers and vendors/contractors. Flexible hours, weekends as required. Coordinator positions may require specialized skills relative to Facility Management, Event/Public Assembly and Program Management. Reports to the Events and Public Venues Supervisor.Minimum Education and TrainingRequires a Bachelor’s degree in Parks and Recreation, Facilities Management, Property Maintenance, Architecture, Engineering, or related field supplemented by one to two years of related experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. An International Facility Management Association (IFMA) or Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) certification is desired. Must submit to, and pass, a fingerprint-based national criminal history record check and must be able to obtain, and recertify as required, the appropriate Criminal Justice Security Awareness training.
