If you have logistics management experience, are a quick learner and have a great work ethic, we want to talk to you.JOB TYPE: FULL-TIME2 PM – 10 PM Monday through FridayFLEXIBILITY IS REQUIREDSALARY RANGE: $55,000 – $65,000/YEAR DOEBENEFITS: Medical, dental, vision, vacation, holidays, sick time, life insurance and 401K.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCore duties and responsibilities include the following, plus other duties that may be assigned:· Coordinate transportation, routing, customer interaction, and dispatching in accordance with policies, principles and procedures established by the Regional and National Operations Manager.· Confer with customers and representatives of associated industries to evaluate and promote improved and expanded services in the area.· Develop plans for efficient use of resources.· Review costs and improve profitability in the markets.· Review operations and implement improvements.· Utilize logistics IT programs to optimize procedures.· Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.· Keep logs and records for all customer related services.· Prepare accurate reports for management.· Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES· Supervise employees in the given area and ensure they are sufficiently staffed and trained.· Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with DSA’s policies and applicable laws.· Responsibilities include: Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing a team; appraising performances; addressing complaints and resolving problems; following DSA’s protocol for interactions with vendors.EDUCATIONHigh School diploma or equivalentAssociate Degree preferredEXPERIENCE5 – 10 years of logistics experience is required.Management experience is required.5+ years experience in the transportation industry.Skills in navigating the Internet, proficiency in MS Office, CRM Software and Outlook email.Excellent written and verbal skills.An understanding of HIPPA rules and regulations is a plus.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.JOB TYPE: FULL-TIMEPAY: $55,000 – $65,000/PER YEAR DOE (PAID WEEKLY)Job Type: Full-timePay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Logistics: 5 years (Required)Management: 1 year (Required)Transportation Industry: 5 years (Required)License/Certification:Driver’s License (Preferred)Work Location: One location
