Get in on the ground floor of logistics serving the e-commerce small package delivery industry. Dispatch fleet of Independent Contractor drivers for the U.S.’s largest regional carrier.
Any type of dispatching experience qualifies you for this exciting position. In addition, the ideal candidate is detail-oriented and well-organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Advanced knowledge of the area is required.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility is facilitating the daily independent contractor services, and resolution of service, routing, and delivery issues.
Analyze freight volume in relation to daily independent contractor availability.
Compiles statistics and reports for branch operations.
Serves as the main communication contact for independent contractor drivers.
Embrace diversity and foster a respectful environment for both employees and customers.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Strong oral and written communication skills and follow-through
Strong analytical skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Logistics knowledge and/or Study in Logistics or similar field
Ability to work under tight time constraints
Availability to work beyond normal business hours as needed
TMS, Oracle OTM, Blue Jay, Mercury Gate, etc. experience preferred
Shift: Must be able to work Tuesday – Saturday 5:30am-2pm
Pay rate: 20.00hourly
This is an hourly full-time position with excellent benefits.
