Job Description : Scenic Design Company is seeking a painter/ finisher with at least 7 years’ experience.Applicants must be accomplished in the areas of:Clean finish, understanding of the execution of an impeccable finishSanding and prep workPrimer, stain, clear and pigmented lacquersWater based and chemical based finishesStain and paint color matchingUse of HVLP and air assisted airless gunsExperience with spray booth equipmentJobs can range from rolled on finishes to high end cabinet finishes.Additional Qualifications:Must speak fluent EnglishAbility to work as a team player;Knowledge of power tools, building materials, and hardware used in a professional carpentry setting (i.e. Table saw, sliding compound miter saw, screw gun/drill, router, pneumatic staplers/nailers, sanders, drill press, jigsaw and skill saw).Fabric stretching experience is a plusPhysically capable of climbing ladders, scaffolds, using boom lifts, man lifts, and able to balance, crawl, crouch and kneelMust be able to lift, pull, push and carry 50 lbs. or more.Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekdays, weekends, evenings and holidays.Must be able and willing to walk and stand for long periods of time.Must be able to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude.Please send resume and wage requirementsJob Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWeekend availabilityCOVID-19 considerations:We follow cdc guidelinesEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Painting / finishing: 3 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
