Position : People Service Assistant
Job Description : Bishop & Company is seeking a People Service Center Assistant in the downtown Honolulu area. Ideal candidate will have 2 years experience in clerical work and be tech savvy!
People Service Center Assistant
Responsibilities:
Maintains physical and electronic records according to record retention guidelines. Maintains People Services personnel files.
Alphabetizes, sorts, and files all incoming documentation and personnel records.
Removes obsolete or duplicated material as necessary.
Scans and verifies quality of image, indexes and commits documents to imaging system. Performs preventative maintenance on all imaging equipment.
Provides general service center assistance to include but not limited to scheduling of interviews, processing of temporary staff, onboarding activities, and unemployment insurance.
Delivers and retrieves division mail from the centralized mail room.
Opens and distributes department mail.
Operates microfiche reader/printer to retrieve microfilmed records.
Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D.
Experience: 1- 2 years of clerical work experience.
Demonstrated proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft applications (Internet Explorer, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or similar software.
Knowledge of or ability to use Bank software, systems and equipment helpful but not required
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
Must be analytical, detail oriented, organized.
Must be able to meet deadlines and handle multiple changing priorities.
Able to work filing, preparing documents or scanning, etc. for hours per day, maintaining quality of work.
Must be able to handle hundreds of pieces of paper and other records a day, requiring staple removal, correct placement on scanner, etc.
Must be able to push cart, lift up to 25 pounds, use a step stool for pulling and retrieving boxes from filing cabinets and shelving units, bend and stretch.
Also requires the use of scanning equipment, microfiche reader, etc.
Additional Information:
Position Type: Temporary Opportunity until June 2022 with possible extension
Pay: $16.00/hr
Please note client does have a covid mandate in place
Location: Downtown Honolulu, HI 96813
Parking: Not Provided
Schedule: Full time, Monday – Friday, 8: 00 am – 5: 00 pm, overtime as required
