Job Description : Polybag Operator-Twin City Foods, Inc.Twin City Foods Inc. began as a small frozen vegetable processing company in Stanwood, WA in 1943. We currently have a Polybag Operator position available in our facility in Pasco, WA.As a Twin City Foods (Pasco Division) Polybag Operator your main purpose is to maintain proper production by ensuring that the production line equipment is working at full capacity.Polybag Operator should have experience in: Packaging line experienceBasic maintenanceTroubleshooting*Selected employee will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and E-Verify*Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Regular checks for proper feed of product through baggers for maximum efficiency.Monitors and adjusts vibrators to gain optimum bagger performance.Insures by regular checks that baggers are being fed with enough product to run efficiently. Notifies supervisor and Package Lead of problems.Checks bag weights and adjusts to meet Company standards.Maintains jaws for proper sealing.Changes paper and poly rolls.Checks poly codes with Q.A. and continuously monitors for accuracy.Makes adjustments as needed for proper operation.Adjusts Ink-jet coder for optimum code placement and clarity on case.Keeps baggers clean of crumbs.Cleans take-away belts.Keeps floors clean of debris.Insures all of packaging is clean and food safe.Properly completes all required documentation.Along with Other duties as Assigned.Food Safety/Security Duties/Responsibilities: Use proper food safety PPE and maintain general housekeeping.Fill out glass breakage reports on any broken light bulbs.Upon task completion, account for all tools, spare parts, materials and shop supplies. Ensure that equipment and work area is clean and free of debris. Return items to storage and dispose of consumables.Prevent any product contamination by refraining from use of tape, wire, string or any other temporary repair.
