Job Description : Company Overview:
The Sliding Door Company is a successful manufacture and distributor of high-end interior glass solutions with 20 Showroom’s throughout North America. Since 2005, our objective has always been to provide functional, state-of-the-art interior glass doors that optimize every inch of floor space available in residential and commercial settings
Position Overview:
The Sales Specialist will professionally represent TSDC product line while providing product knowledge, estimates and closing deals. The ideal candidate will have consultative type sales background and know how to develop warm leads into customers. It is highly preferable for this candidate to have previous experience working with commercial furniture dealers, home improvement and real estate.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Become a product expert
Closing Retail/Showroom sales effectively
Efficiently maintain high level of account management and follow up
Proactively build and maintain accurate and current pipeline
Schedule meetings or showroom events with clients/potential clients
Prospecting and building your book of business- Trade (A&D, Office dealers, Contractors & Developers)
Assist walk-in customers
Accurately enter data into company CRM
Administer all day-to-day operations of the showroom
Effectively manage and maintain accurate reports for the following:
Daily sales reports
Weekly pipeline reports
10/20 day monthly forecasting
Lead reports
Participate in ongoing training to help enhance closing ratios
Qualifications:
5 years of successful sales experience with small business projects is a MUST
Familiar with commercial space plans and drawings
Strong negotiation skills and high closing ratio
Ability to ask questions and gather information
Solid Math and measurement skills
Ability to develop new business by cold calling/networking
Outgoing, professional, and self-motivated is a must
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong time management, attention to detail and organizational skills is a MUST
Available to works some Saturdays
Current and Valid Driver’s License
