Position : Production Operator

Under the direction of the production supervisor, operators will be assigned to operator and/or assist in the operation of equipment in various areas of the plant.
In this position you will have the opportunity to:
Operate industrial machines including an ore hopper and portable impact crusher
Monitor materials and product through the process and perform adjustments to ensure product quality
Work around hazardous chemicals including sulfuric acid and anhydrous ammonia
Maintain an awareness of safe work practices preventing unsafe conditions or harm the environment
Properly don required personal protective equipment including uniform, hard hat, steel toe shoes, safety glasses, gloves and full face respiratory protection
Enter production data into product database, ensuring accuracy
Climb and descend stairs and ladders repetitively, safely and unassisted
Work in confined spaces
REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 18 years old
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid drivers license
lift and move 50 pounds comfortably and repetitively
basic computer skills
previous work-related skill, knowledge or experience preferred
MSHA certification preferred
mobile equipment experience preferred
Operator positions follow a 12-hour work schedule, rotating from 6 am – 6 pm or 6 pm to 6 am.
