Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Quality Systems Specialist ( Level 3 ) to join our Quality, Regulatory & Oversight Internal Audit team. In this role, the focus will be on defining, implementing and maintaining a robust risk-based internal audit program for BGS.
Position Responsibilities
A Quality professional is required to support all BGS Prime Contracts (e.g. Customer Commitment, Return to Service and Revenue Generation). This Quality, Regulatory and Safety Oversight (QRSO) staffing request is based on actuals required to support (i.e. significantly under budget) and is needed to backfill positions due to attrition.
Quality, Regulatory and Safety Oversight (QRSO) staffing is paramount to ensure compliance to both industry and company Quality Management Systems. This Internal Audit position is considered critical to prime contract obligations and requirements. The conduct of Internal Audit is the foundation to Quality Management System, Safety Management System and Regulatory requirements which includes PC700 compliance. Internal Auditing requirements are necessary and shall be performed in accordance with PRO-1000 and BPI-705.
Quality Management System requirements are in accordance with regulations (DFAR, FAR, ISO/AS, EASA, and FAA standards and regulations). Meeting FAA prime contract requirements are paramount to avoid additional oversight, investigations and civil penalties with reputational harm. Additionally, for all Department of Defense (DOD) contracts, appropriate staffing levels and process tasks must be in place and occur to support Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) policies that mandate a fully approved and compliant Quality Management System which includes the conduct of Internal Audit.
Additionally, Quality, Regulatory and Safety Oversight (QRSO) staffing must be adequate to support 1st party, 2nd party (DCMA/DOD), or 3rd party internal audits where AS9100, AS9120, AS9110, FAA/MAR-145 are applicable.
Support Q-Pulse Administration.
Support Q-Pulse Issue Resolution.
Support Adhoc Audits.
Support PC700 Audits.
Support RQ&SO Core Audits of IA process.
Develop common process templates.
Develop common checklists in Q-Pulse.
Support IA metrics.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
+1 years of experience in auditing
Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience
Experience with the maintenance and modifications of aircrafts
Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
ASQ Certified Quality Auditor
Relocation :

Summary pay range: $72,000 – $128,000
