The Snowflake DBA would need to have at least 6+ years of database administration experience with atleast 2+ as Snowflake database administration experience.
This Candidate will be responsible for database design, structure, and maintenance of one or more discrete databases, used by business units and infrastructure teams.
Job responsibilities include but not limited to:
Setup Snowflake DB instance with appropriate configuration
Be able to script, and have programming ability with other programming languages
Configure and monitoring Snowflake DB
Optimizing database/query performance
Selection, inserting large amounts of data
Ability to design and implement HA solutions.
Ability and experience of working with applications that work with Snowflake such as Java, .NET, Node.js and/or others
Ability to design scripts to automate key database management functions.
Certifications are greatly preferred
Database design, coding, testing, debugging, and installing.
Follow software development methodologies.
Working through business requirements and designs with IT partners.
