We are looking for someone who is self-starter, is highly collaborative, has high-energy, is results-oriented, has a bias towards action, is exceptionally imaginative, is adaptable, and truly excited about Tala’s mission!Tala’s India People team is responsible for aligning Tala’s business objectives with our human resource capital towards Tala India’s success in both the short and long-term. A successful Talent Engagement associate will effectively partner and work along with the People Business Partner to build a robust HR function in India and own the engagement activity of the employees starting from the initial phase when they are candidates and till they exit the organization. The role is crucial in terms of offering ground level support as part of the larger objective to set up and streamline processes that define the entire employee life cycle.What you’ll do?Pre and post onboarding engagement & co-ordination for new joinersPlan and execute engagement events, activities and learning sessions.Effectively communicating to employees informing them about holidays, events through various digital media such as posters, banners etc.Vendor coordination and helping PBP in procurement for gift items.Coordination in pre-onboarding activities such as setting up calendar invites, welcome cards Maintenance & updation of employee records on a regular basis.Study routine engagement activities across other companies and implement best practicesWork closely with empanelled vendors for routine HR operational tasksPre-onboarding Coordination with IT spocs for laptop requisitions, procurement etc.Birthday and work anniversary announcementsRoutine tactical engagement activities like quizzes, celebrations etcAccommodating any ad-hoc request as per need basis.What You’ll need?0-2 years of experience in HR Coordination or Engagement activitiesSelf-motivated and high on initiative.Proficient in MS office.Able to manage ambiguity.Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.Execution mindset with a high level of achievement orientation.High on ideation and creativityAdaptable and willingness to learn and evolveOur vision is to build a new financial ecosystem where everyone can participate on equal footing and access the tools they need to be financially healthy.
