Job Description : Job Description:To provide support to new and existing work within the business lineKey Responsibilities/Accountabilities:Responsible for identifying all types of military munitions, including possible fuses and their condition, armed and unarmed.Reconnoiter and classify UXO and Discarded Military Munitions (DMM).Excavate subsurface UXO and DMM and move and/or consolidate materials that have been determined safe to move by UXO supervisor.May be part of a UXO demolition and disposal team and assist in the inspection various explosive ordnance.Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules. Performs other duties as required.Basic Qualifications:Must be a graduate of a formal UXO training course of instruction or EOD Assistant courses by a certified Department of Defense training facility. Must meet the UXO Technician 1 requirements as promulgated by DDESB TP-18. Must be familiar with and have ability to carry out all job performance requirements in accordance with operational procedures. Typically will have more than 3 years UXO related experience.Covid-19 Vaccination is required for this position.Job Type: Full-time
