DMAS is seeking talented individuals who works as IT business analyst performing requirements gathering, process flow documentation, test cases and technical documentation for current and new IT systems across the Agency including products such as K2, DocuSign and bespoke agency IT systems. Analyzes business needs, produces reports on application development and implementation and analyzes test data to inform business decisions.
Attends project meetings with stakeholders, managers and project managers and communicates requirements, development and testing status. Works with stakeholders at all levels of the organization as well as across development teams, divisions and IT project managers
Minimum Qualifications
Prior IT experience performing requirements gathering, process flow documentation, test cases and technical documentation. Highly skilled in use of PC and considerable knowledge of SharePoint and MS Office specifically Excel, Word, Visio and PPT. Ability to understand and analyze strategic business needs to enhance the quality of IT products and services to help deliver operational efficiencies. Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for this position as are excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset. Ability to work indecently and as part of a team.
A desire to understand and learn current and new IT systems and applications and how they can be used effectively in business process automation. A solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Information Technology, Information Management or related field along with considerable experience with process flow documentation, reviewing and developing technical documentation and test cases a plus.
Special Requirements
This is an hourly position limited to 29 hours per week/ 1500 hours per year.
This position is expected to work both remotely and/or in the office as driven by business needs. Ability to work remotely is required.
