You will implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and to increase the company’s overall market share.ResponsibilitiesAchieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goodsMeasure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performanceOrganize and maintain inventory and storage areaEnsure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracyCommunicate job expectations and coach employeesDetermine staffing levels and assign workloadInterface with customers to answer questions or solve problemsMaintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse statusIdentify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practicesConfer and coordinate activities with other departmentsSkillsProven work experience as a warehouse supervisorHighly effective supervisory skills and techniquesKnowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiencyAbility to input, retrieve and analyze dataHands-on commitment to getting the job doneExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to direct and coordinate operationsStrong organizational and time management skillsBS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administrationJob Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per yearSchedule:8 hour shiftExperience:Leadership: 1 year (Preferred)Warehouse & Distribution Center Supervisors: 3 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
