Job Description : After-School All-Stars (ASAS) is one of the leading national after-school program providers in the country. Our comprehensive school-based programs combine activities and learning to help build the knowledge and skills children need to succeed, both in school and in life.We have open positions at Waialua High & Intermediate School working with 7th and 8th grade students.Roles and Responsibilities:The part-time Program Leader, under the direction of the Site Coordinator, is responsible for the daily implementation of the After-School All-Stars program model:Supervise students at all timesPrepare and plan activities that reflect student interestsLead Sports and/or Enrichment classes to groups, not to exceed, 20 studentsFollow the ASAS code of student conduct when working with studentsExperience and Education:The successful candidate will:Have one year or more of non-profit or related youth development program experienceHave a familiarity with, and passion for, working with low income youthBe a self-starter with a great personality, passion about serving youth in an educational setting and the ability to mentor middle school students ensuring they have a positive, fun and educational after-school experienceJob Type: Part-timePay: $15.00 per hourSchedule:Monday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:Staff and students are required to wear a mask during program and follow CDC recommended guidelines.Application Question(s):What zip code are you presently residing in?Are you fully COVID-19 vaccinated?If you are not fully COVID-19 vaccinated, do you have at least 1 shot of a 2 shot COVID vaccination?If you have not received the COVID-19 vaccination, are you willing to provide proof of a negative COVID test each week of employment should you be hired?Work Location: One location
