Job Description : First Congregational ChurchAdministrative AssistantPosition Overview: The FCC Administrative Assistant provides support for all activities, functions, and the ministries of First Congregational Christian Church of Anchorage (FCC).Position Qualifications: Applicant should beSelf-motivated and able to work with other staff.Experienced at working with the public.Ability to work with Microsoft and Google products, or confident that they can be learned. Word, Excel, and Publisher are used daily, OneNote for worship planning, and Google Drive/Docs/Sheets for collaboration.A record that is free of any documentation relating to moral, ethical, or legal lapses, especially if they relate to finances and children and youth.Position Hours: 20-25 hours depending upon contractual arrangementPosition Salary: $15-$20/hour depending upon experience. Includes 2 weeks of paid vacationPosition Responsibilities:The Administrative Assistant reports to and collaborates with the FCC SeniorMinister.Routine office tasks include: Staff the FCC Office and work with other church staffMaintain communicationsPerform clerical tasks, both routine and unexpectedManage church calendar and databasesSupport financial duties of the Treasurer and Financial SecretaryMaintain and update church website and streaming platformsJob Types: Part-time, ContractPay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hourBenefits:Flexible schedulePaid time offSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:Masks are required for all people in the building. People will maintain distancing measures and minimize time congregating in smaller rooms and offices.Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
