Job Description : We are looking for a skilled Assembler/Carpenter to put together pre-assembled sheds and small buildings. The ideal candidate will work as a subcontractor, and have a vehicle that is able to pull a 16′ trailer. You will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. You must have good technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity. Ability to read instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics etc. and follow them with precision is extremely important. The goal is to leave the customer 100% satisfied with a great product.ResponsibilitiesRead and comprehend instructions and follow established proceduresCollect all material and equipment needed to begin the processSelect or modify components according to measurements and specificationsAlign material and put together parts to build unitsMaintain equipment in good conditionKeep records of production quantities and timeReport on issues, malfunction or defective partsSkillsProven experience as assemblerTechnical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.Ability in using tools ( roofing,siding,finishing nailers, saw etc)Good understanding of quality control principlesGood communication skills (verbal and written)Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical conditionHigh school diploma; Higher degree from a technical school will be appreciatedJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hourBenefits:Flexible scheduleSchedule:8 hour shiftApplication Question(s):Do you own a Truck or SUV capable of hauling a 16 foot trailerMust be able to pass a background checkEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:General construction: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: On the road
