Position : Business Process Manager
Job Description : The Riverside County Probation Department is seeking a Business Process Manager to support their Business Intelligence and Operation Services Division located in Riverside. The incumbent will be responsible for managing a select business process improvement project team comprised of multiple stakeholders, cross-functional subject matter experts, professional staff, and contract personnel responsible for developing and implementing systemic process improvement plans that will result in increased productivity, quality systems improvement, cost reduction, and waste reduction; and performs other related duties as required.
The Business Process Manager is the first level manager classification in the business process series and reports to a mid-level manager within the site organization. The Business Process Manager provides incumbents with the opportunity to receive first level manager experience that requires duties of an increasingly more complex nature. This class is characterized by the responsibility to foster a culture that embraces Business Process Improvement (BPI) methodologies towards achieving or exceeding organizational objectives and the development of an overall site BPI plan. Incumbents in this class typically oversee project teams that have an impact on enterprise business processes used by Riverside County departments, districts, and affiliates.
This class has been deemed eligible for the Performance Recognition Plan as set forth under Article 3, Section 311(C) of the County Management Resolution. Program eligibility requires employees to be in a leadership position, manage other employees or programs, and have significant influence on the achievement of organizational objectives.
