Minecraft is increasingly used in the classroom to support engaging, immersive learning across a wide range of subjects. We are looking for a Business Programs Manager with a passion for education and an entrepreneurial spark to join us in our mission to empower teachers and students with Minecraft. This is a chance to change how people teach and learn and inspire a generation to build a better world through the power of play.
As a Business Programs Manager for Minecraft Education, you will create, plan, and execute customer engagements, including go-to-market programs for content launches, global events, and customer onboarding at scale. You will run targeted pilots and bring learnings back to make our product stronger and our customers happier and build relationships with a global community of educators to drive awareness and adoption. Responsibilities
Define a strategy for engaging external and internal partner organizations, like Microsoft Education, to drive or collaborate on adoption programs.
Deliver programs to support the increasing usage of Minecraft in classrooms around the world. This may include project management of events, content creation, partnerships, and other resource and asset creation.
Incubate, plan, and support pilots targeting new business segments and business models to bring our product strategy to life, from hypothesis through to launch.
Create and deliver storytelling that encapsulates the power of Minecraft and game-based learning and engage school leaders in adopting Minecraft: Education Edition. Represent Minecraft Education at conferences, events, and customer meetings.
Engage a robust, connected global community of educators and commercial customers with programs that drive awareness and adoption of Minecraft Education, and generate inspiration through sharing of best practices and ideas.
Qualifications
3+ years of program management experience in a fast-paced, global environment
Subject matter expertise in STEM and game-based learning, ideally Minecraft or other education apps
Experience designing go-to-market programs for global markets
Experience building collaborative working relationships across multi-disciplinary teams
Exceptional project management and presentation skills
