Job Description : Do you have a passion for technology and gaming? Overclock Media, Inc. is a video production company focused on creating web-based content for YouTube and other social media platforms. We are looking for a camera operator to join our team creating weekly episodes on the topic of tech and gaming news. Responsibilities include helping to shape the visual direction and operating both handheld and pedestal/tripod shooting. Candidates must be comfortable operating under tight deadlines in the fast-paced environment to capture content ranging from talking head explainers to dynamic reality show style pieces.Responsibilities: Follow a shot list, while choosing the angles and distancesMove and setup gear/equipment as well as frame up talent/subjects on cameraSetting up talent lightingWorking with our production team to coordinate filming demands needed per projectManaging set production gear including lighting, lighting support, camera and camera supportRequirements: Knowledge and versatile in photographic equipment, as well as lighting, composition, and movementOperational knowledge of camera and lens systems, experience with Sony E-Mount Mirrorless cameras is a plusMust be able to comfortably track moving subjects while the camera is on sticks or handheldBeing able to rack focus manually is preferredMust be able to lift and hold on shoulders up to 30 poundsExperience in data management and DIT is preferredMust have the ability to stand or sit in one location for the duration of the shootMust have the ability to stand, sit, crouch, and bend throughout the course of daily activitiesMust be well organized and work well under pressureAble to adapt to sudden changes in requests for shots and positioning of cameraJob Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayWork Location: One location
