Job Description : POSITION: Central Sterile Tech, Full-TimeLOCATION: 2351 G Road Grand Junction, CO 81505SHIFT: Full-Time (13 weeks)PAY: $2,195 WEEKLY GROSS; $54.88/hr on w2Location: Community HospitalResponsibilities: Maintaining designated supplies to assigned areasEnsuring all equipment and supplies are available for each surgical caseProcesses surgical instruments in accordance with the AMMI recommended practicesDecontamination of contaminated instrumentation in a safe, effective and timely mannerEnsuring proper assembly of surgical sets and instrumentsCompleting and ensuring accuracy of instrument count sheetAssisting OR staff in locating instruments needed for casesMaintaining permanent records of sterilization for Surgery department, and other departmentsas needed in accordance with recommended practicesReestablishing a safe and clean environment, including cleaning of rooms and surroundings,removal of linens or disposable items following established regulatory policiesCleaning, preparing, and maintaining supplies needed for surgical procedures (laryngoscope blades, face masks, tubing, filters, soda line, glide scope, ultrasound, fluid/blood warmers, and specialty pumps, etc.)Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent training preferredCurrent unrestricted licensure as a Certified Nurse Assistant in the State of Colorado preferredBLS preferred210366Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $54.88 per hourApplication Question(s):Do you have Current unrestricted licensure as a Certified Nurse Assistant in the State of Colorado?Are you vaccinated?Education:High school or equivalent (Required)Experience:Sterile Processing Technicians: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:BLS Certification (Preferred)Work Location: One location
